Cleaner Today introduces the patented Viraguard line of ready to use disinfectants and antimicrobials for medical, dental and institutional markets.
Since its introduction nearly a decade ago, Viraguard has been recognized as an environmentally compatible and highly effective solution for the disinfection of hard inanimate surfaces, under its EPA disinfectant registration, as well as being a safe and effective hand sanitizer, under its FDA drug listing as an OTC antimicrobial product.
The patented Viraguard formulation utilizes Isopropanol (Isopropyl Alcohol)in its optimum concentration, combined with other ingredients, to meet both EPA and FDA requirements, without the need for harmful or residue producing chemicals such as Quaternary Ammonium, Phenol, Chlorine, or Glutaraldehyde.
A mild citrus scent makes Viraguard ideal for use in hospitals, private practice offices, ambulances, police, fire and paramedic vehicles, nursing homes and anywhere that disinfection and antisepsis is critical.
Recent in vitro testing of Viraguard has led to the EPA granting new and expanded efficacy claims for the product, including effectiveness against the microorganisms presenting the greatest risk to health care workers, first responders, and the public, as well as meeting the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard.
Viraguard Hospital Disinfectant Towelettes constitute a broad spectrum, one-step, cleaning/disinfecting system that is effective in killing gram positive and gram negative bacteria, including resistant strains such as MRSA and VRE, encapsulated bacteria such as Tuberculosis ( TB )producing Mycobacterium bovis (BCG), Trichophyton mentagrophytes fungus, Herpes simplex, and HIV-1 the AIDS virus.
