How is Roof Armor applied?

  • Roof Shingle Shield Armor Preventative is applied to a CLEAN roof.

  • Roof Armor is a liquid concentrate sprayed from the gutter or ground with a hose end sprayer
  • Rinsing is not required for algae stain prevention
  • Roof Armor Protectant makes 20 gallons of shingle stain prevention.

Keeps my roof looking new July 3, 2006

My roof had been badly stained by black streaks which turned out to be algae.   I used a local roof cleaner outfit that used Roof QSE to clean it, and they told me to use Roof ARMOR every 6 months (because I live on the water).
I was worried it would be difficult, but I just use the Pro sprayer, and spray it on from the ground, I don't have to rinse it.
The stains haven't come back and Gail and I are thrilled!
